In Colorado, RSI is not in the State list of "Acts allowed by Paramedics." However, the procedure is available via waiver - if the waiver is approved by the Board of Medical Examiners. Our service, AMR - Colorado Springs has a waiver and a paramedic RSI progam and protocol is in place and active.
