Re: helmet vs. headset
Helmets mandatory here (as is long sleeve nomex). Program provides helmet
(SPH-5's) and flight suits - we have recently increased our helmet supply so
that everyone has their own. When crewmembers were sharing helmets we
issued personal head liners for the helmets . Crewmembers may purchase
their own helmets (if they hit the lottery).
