Re: Medical Air

Transverse load behind pilots into BK117, Bell 412 (medical team forward-facing).
Transverse load at rear bulkhead into Dauphin N2 (medical team rear-facing).
For two patients, BK117 second infant transport system fore/aft (2 transport team members only)
For two patients in the N2, both systems fore/aft with 4 adults (2 full teams or 1.5 teams plus a sitting parent).
Infant transport systems are based on a 1500x450mm footprint (ie. they are shorter than a regular (adult) stretcher to allow this flexibility in loading.

We have medical air and oxygen piped in the BK and N2. Other helicopters we use supply oxygen but rely on our inbuilt air supplies.

Just curious:
Would anyone be interested in sharing what type of medical air
configuration you use for neonatal rotor wing transports? Thanks in
advance.
