Need information on how to mount a spectrum sled on a
stretcher for easy loading and unloading into a helicopter. We
currently lift the isolette from the base to any in house stretcher and then
slide it off the stretcher into the helicopter. this is not safe for the
staff or the patient . have looked at rugged stretchers and
Fernos but need to know how to secure sled to stretcher.
Both strecher types have a clip deck for the isolette but we want to keep the
isolette in the spectrum sled (which has a runner type setup on its base) and
secure it to the clip deck then we can just release the entire set up and slide
it into the helicopter. Sounds clear as mud to me. any
help would be appreciated.
