CCEMTP Course

In defense of the CCEMT-P course's Airway section, Paramedics that take this course are not new medics.  To take the course, I believe one has to have 2 years field experience as a pre-requisite.  Therefore, they are expected to be fully trained in airway management prior to the course.  More time is dedicated to the skills that they are unfamiliar with such as invasive monitoring, ventilator management, IABP management etc.,

I have taken the course and the 2 weeks was packed with information and was presented at a rapid pace.  So much so that many who attended thought it was difficult to retain everything that was presented in that period of time.
