There is a very good chapter on Altitude/Flight Physiology in the Flight
Nurse Advanced Trauma book or if you have the new revised issue it is
the Transport Nurse Advanced Trauma book. Good Luck!!

As part of our CAAMS recertification we need information about altitude
physiology in patient care. We operate in the Chicago area, so we
rarely fly
above 2000 AGL, but the rquirement is still in place. We would greatly
appreciate any information on this subject.
