Rollie and George,
I agree with what you are saying.  I guess what I'm
saying is sometimes we all forget what we are here
for. Nobody in this business goes out to intentionally
hurt anyone, and I do believe we all want what is best
for our patients.  I think it is sad to make it out to
be such a community-wide war. Unfortunately, it has
gone on for years and years. I wonder what the
community thinks about all of us now. Truth is, I know
people who have come back and forth "across the
river."
They are all great people.
We all have that bad call. Some we'd choose to forget,
some we knew we made a difference.  I wasn't at that
call, but for whatever the reason they chose to make
their decision. This is why we all go through case
reviews, etc.  Unfortunately, the media has chosen to
do their case review, too. Maybe it will make us all
think twice about who we are and what we do.  Enough
