I am trying to find out what other flight programs are doing concerning
family/significant others who desire to ride along with a patient.
Taking into consideration the recent happenings, have programs changed
their policies on this matter? We decided to ban all family/ SO ride
alongs until the situation calms down. We have been met with a great amount
of anger from parent groups who feel they should be exempt from this policy
and be able to fly along with their children. I am seeking input from other
programs on what you are doing. Thanks!!
