OB Transports
To those of you that do OB transports in RW aircraft, I pose some a
question: Do you use fetal monitors or doppler during flights? I am
currently looking at the new HP monitor (FM-2 by Agilent) and would like to
know if anyone is using it. I know there has been debate in the past about
specialty teams vs. regular crew, and I do not wish to re-start the debate.
I only need some info as to whether this is a monitor we should be
utilizing, and if so, what are the competency requirements for reading,
interpreting, and intervening with fetal monitoring. Feel free to respond
to the list or myself. Thanks in advance!
