Re: 24hour shifts
Another thought about 24 hour shifts:
Why don't we lobby the FAA so the pilots can do 24 hour shifts? If you are
an advocate of the medical crew doing 24s then there should be no problem
about the pilot being equally capable. The jobs are very similar - critical
decision making and motor skills, with a risk that there will be a loss of
life if an error is made.
Personally, I would prefer being flown and cared for by someone who had at
least a chance of being rested.
