Virus sent on Concern Network

For some of you, this will be a duplicate message. A couple of days ago, a
message containing a virus was inadvertently sent via the Concern Network
online. It wasn't obvious that the message came from the Concern Network,
but was titled, "Course US Army Aviation" and contained an attachment
that, if opened, would infect your computer.

Fortunately, many email systems (larger hospitals, corporations with
firewalls, etc.) caught the message and probably prevented it from getting
to your account. But the rest of you may well be infected with that virus
now, especially if you opened the attached file or viewed the message with
Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express.

Here is a web link with more information on this virus and instructions
for removal:
http://vil.nai.com/vil/virusSummary.asp?virus_k=99040#VirusChar

Again, please remember to practice these basic email security measures;

- NEVER open an email attachment with a .exe filename
- Use a good virus scanner (Free - www.avg.com)
- Update your MS Outlook/Outlook Express email software so it doesn't
automatically open attachments (or consider another email program like
Eudora or Pegasus)
