At my previous program, I had the pleasure of working with 2 partners who are 1DM...as long as they were able to function as everyone else (which they did and still do), there was no reason to treat them any differently.

Does anyone have information regarding have diabetic specifically type 1DM as crew members are there any restrictions etc. I have researched it with the FAA and CAMTS and haven't found anything. Please let me know if your program has anything regarding this.Thanks and fly safe
