Re: What's with all the SPAM?

I was also spammed a lot after visiting a chat room when I was new to the
Internet. My e-mail address showed up on the screen, on a list of the
people in the chat room. Wouldn't be surprised if there are unscrupulous
folks out there copying and selling addresses. So I don't chat on-line
anymore.

Also... I'm fairly certain that if you visit some of the web sites that
place a "cookie" on your computer, that cookie can be used to track you down
and spam you. Am I right about that? We (our family) got spammed a bunch
after someone (a neighbor) used our computer and visited some sites of
questionable virtue.

Fly safe, and enjoy what's left of the summer weather!
