Re helmets

Al,
On the topic of helmets,
Partial list of data/position statements:
Frazer R. Air Medical Accidents, A 20 year Search for information. AirMed Sept/Oct 1999 pp34-39

Cox K. Seeking the Truth About Helicopter Flight Helmets. AirMed; Nov/Dec 1998 pp18-21

Postition Statements (just a few )
www.astna.org/Position-papers/Safety1.html
www.nfpa.rotor.com/positio2.htm
Another great reference is AAMS's statement titled " Personal Protective Equipment for flight crew members", I have a hard copy but could not trace the document in their website. email me your fax# and I'll send it. It also has three pages of referenced articles.

Wear that brain bucket! It will save your life.

Play Safe.
