I have just completed the obstetrical transport chapter for the Air Medical
Crew Core Curriculum re-write which should be available by the next AMTC in
September. I will also be providing a 2 hour lecture at AMTC on this subject.
The transport of the high risk OB patient is very specialized and should be
provided by those who are properly trained in recognizing and avoiding
potential complications. Proper assessment and stabilization is imperative.
