We use the Impact 754 on all patients with the exception of neonates. For
them we keep the Crossvent IV. I agree even with the CV IV you are close to
the limits with neonatal flight, but we are more comfortable with it then the
754 on neonates.
I have looked at and used the LVT 1000. It is a REALLY nice vent. We use
them with all Craig Pt. going home. No experience with neonates. However
they are almost double the price of the Univent 754, but may be worth the
money.
