Let it be said that the cadillac of transport neonatge ventilators at this
time is clearly the CV2 from
BioMed Device. That ventilator is in a class of itself.(Neonate)
The LTV1000 also very good and certainly more recommendable than the
Univent.
I have worked with the BMD Crosvent IV on neonate transport
But it, like the Univent Eagle (754) have a wide spectrum and serve the
Medevac company more so than a neonate (a lot less probs with peds) When you
are using these vents you are truly at the limit of it's performance
spectrum. They are therefore less sensitive, less accurate and less
performance.
