We use the UniVent but only for adults.  I find that it is difficult to use at rates and volumes needed for neonates.  Also, I am not sure if a neonate circuit is available but, if not, the standard circuit has too much dead space to be practical.

Does anyone use the (Impact Uni-Vent portable ventilator model 754) for neonates?  We have had some people tell us it is the Cadillac ventilator and will even ventilate a mouse's cheeks and others tell us it won't work for neonates.
