RE: Air-Evac EMS

It is considerate of you to bash the competition and not have the GUTS to
sign your name to your comments, a real man/women. You make reference to
rumor/stories if you have no facts you therefore should not speak. This
business is tough, and accidents, mistakes happen remember WE that includes
you who ever you are human and have fault no exceptions, not even for you.
I think this e-mail is very unprofessional which is a direct reflection on
both yourself and the flight service you work for....so who is making the
flight industry look bad now? The flightweb conversations are for
educational and learning experiences not TRASH and that is the only thing I
find in your comments. Please share your rumors off this site. GO AIR-EVAC
keep up the fight and FLY SAFE.

Regarding AirEvac;
Their safety record leaves much to be desired. You'll need to check that
out for yourself. Not just accidents listed with the NTSB, but also find out
about their
"incidents" such as the tail rotor strike in Jay Ok. last month. They struck
a road
sign with their tail rotor on approach to a scene flight. I believe they
only
require 3 yrs. of experience for employment consideration, at least on the
medical side. Try to contact some of the recieving facilities, say in St.
Louis, MO.
They typically hire from the surrounding areas, so their referrral
places
may be
biased.
My personal opinion is that they need to be much safer. If you would
like
I can give you some very reliable 'rumors/stories' which may or may not
help.
They are
from very reliable sources. As far as patient care, I've heard a few horror
stories that
I could share if you like. I must tell you , however, that I do work for the
competition
so my views may also be biased. I do believe, however, that they make air
ems
providers look bad. Maybe not to the public, but to the industry.
