Paramedic Clinical Ladder

I currently work with a rotor wing / ground critical care transport service in North Carolina.  The nurses that I work with are involved in a "clinical ladder" that allows them to move from an RN1 thru RN4 in two year increments with a 5% raise each time.  Our program started using paramedics in 1997 at our satelite (ground)positions and we started using paramedics in flight positions in 1999.  We are currently trying to get the paramedics on the "clinical ladder" here.  I was wondering how many programs have some sort of "clinical ladder" program.  I would appreciate any responses with as much specifics about your program as possible.  Thank you in advance for your help.
