Re: GPS

Hello All!
I have used several brands of GPS units over the last several years,
and I find the Garmin series to have the most user-friendly, intuitive menus
and controls. At least for the way my brain works. Essentially, you can't go
wrong with any of the Garmin models. The only thing a higher price brings are
more whistles and bells. I use an old Garmin 45 (I carry it with me as part
of my survival gear while flying) and I also have a Garmin III+ which accepts
maps from a CD.
Bottom line, all GPS units will tell you where you are. Find one that
you can understand and operate.
