Ready to do intrathoracic massage anywhere, anytime ?

In its retracted state, the device included with the inPULSE System can be
inserted within seconds through a small incision in the left, 4th,
intercostal space of the victim. Once inserted and fully deployed, a soft
pumphead expands just above the heart (outside the pericardium). Direct
cardiac massage can be performed by manually pushing down on the handle,
causing the soft pumphead to compress the heart. Releasing pressure on the
handle allows the heart to expand. By connecting the device to a
defibrillator, the device can also serve as an internal electrode.

The Paris SAMU was trying one out (1999)
With their usual delayed response
I wonder if they manage to reanimate

"we are currently trialling the MID -CM in Victoria. I have only had one
hands on experience of using it and I am very impressed by it. It is
able to generate a BP on an Aystolic patient of 80mmHG with a good
carotid and femeral pulse.
I am looking foward to seeing the results of this trial
