I say go for it! You sound like you have the drive, and determination it
takes to do the job. Let no one stand in your way. As far as it making it
easier to get a flight job, all I can say is it can't hurt. I don't believe
in just taking a test for the sake of having a bunch iof initials behind
one's name. I believe that you have a mission in mind. Follow you
objective. Good luck! Your efforts will take care of you well. I speak
from experience.
