Re: CFRN REQUIREMENTS

Then again, DT states he has never been in a helicopter.... maybe a visit to
a local system to see "up close and personal" the environment that he would
have to endure, especially if it may be a BO-105 or the like type of the
smaller aircraft and possible seek out a few flights in many of the different
flight conditions... heat, cold, turbulent winds. These eye opening
experiences just may determine whether or not he may survive. (many a rider
has changed their minds after being airsick a time or two). Then start adding
in the years of necessary experince to work toward the goal of Flight
Medicine.

The CEN and CFRN have no requirements as to experience in flight or ER -
they
"suggest" 2 years. - you only have to pass the tests.

If I become certified, CFRN and CEN - ( which I would have no difficulty
doing), Would it improve my chances of getting a flight nurse position down
 the line???
