We have run into the same problem with follow-up.  For scene responses, we 
follow up with the patient and then call the EMS organization to give them 
feedback on the patient's condition.  We don't tend to do as much callback 
with area hospitals.  I've done it a few times, just to let them know how the 
flight went.  Both the hospital staff and the prehospital folks appreciate 
the callbacks.
