Re: TAIL ROTOR INCIDENT
After reading the news articles regarding the incident at Blessing Hospital
in Quincy ,I am astonished and at the hospitals response. The remark by John
Landis, director of Blessing Hospitals' Emergency Services stating that " The
incident did not curtail
Air Evac Services" is ludicrous! It involved their helicopter!!
My questions are " Why was a security guard near the tail ? Why was a
security guard and not the crew taking care of the APU ? Who was securing
the pad during take off ? And how did he end up at the tail when the APU
plugs into the nose of the aircraft ? Sorry I get upset when someone tries to
lay blame where it does not belong.
