The new Gallet flight helmets are very expensive in comparison to the SPH-5
or similar helmets, but are very comfortable and lightweight to wear. The
only caveat is that they are designed for individual use in that they have
many personalized fittings that all attach with strong velcro. In short they
do not work well for shared use like the SPH-5 type helmets with removable
individual "beanies".

      From what I have heard - they are expensive but they are much lighter
and have a "less bulky" styling than the standard helicopter helmets.  Are
any programs using them?
