This comment is from a relative novice in the 407.  We have been in the
aircraft for about 3 months.

We have forbidden hot loads/unloads in the 407.  This is due to the flexible
rotor system.  Have you ever noticed the great flexing of the blades on a
windy day?  The same thing can happen with the aircraft running if there is
a sudden burst of wind.

The other reason is the litter system.  It is easy to bend over pushing a
wheeled litter.  A little tougher and harder on the back with a carry
litter.  I can't even imagine trying to carry a 150 lb. isolette.  Even if
it is offloaded onto a litter, it still sticks up quite a bit.

When we were in BKs and ECs with rigid rotor systems, we did do hot work.
Very little flex to the blades.
