RE: IV drug compatibility
It doesn't look like Epocrates is set up for this application; it appears
that it focuses on interactions within the body, not the delivery system. I
tried running bicarb vs a number of drugs and kept getting "no significant
interactions". Since bicarb tends to be the "bad boy" of drug interacters, I
think my conclusion seems reasonable.
Maybe I'll send the suggestion along to Epocrates though....
I did recently stumble into a resource that might be of interest.
www.medicalsoftwareforPDAs.com sells a text based catalog of, guess what,
medical software for PDA's. It's cheap ($4.99) and can be downloaded in .pdf
or .doc format. Starting on page 78 of the .doc format, there are a variety
of pharmacology programs listed, some of which on quick scan look promising
for the requested function. Each listing contains a link to the website from
which the program is available.
Hope this helps!

Check the recent update of Epocrates; there is a new medication interaction
wizard that seems promising, though I haven't tried it yet.
